  Alaskan Sweet Grass Baskets

Size of each basket vary according to price. The larger the basket the more expensive they are.

The Baskets are made of an Alaskan sweet and dyed grass and porcupine quills. The patterns were hand sewn into the baskets using the materials described after the basket was crafted. Quills are from road-kill animals. Rite color dyes are used to color the porcupine quills and natural sweet grass.

Approx. measurement of these baskets are: ( 3 ˝ ” D x 5 ˝”H)

Wandering Black Bear

This basket is made of Alaskan sweet and dyed grass, dyed seal gut, and birch bark.

The bear pattern was hand sewn into the birch bark using the above material described after the basket was crafted. I just decided to put the pattern on top this time. It's a little different, but will definately stand out as a center piece in your curio cabinet.

This basket is made of Alaskan sweet and dyed sweet grass.

The pine pattern was hand sewn into the basket using the above material described after the basket was crafted. If you have ever visited Copper Harbor, Mi. you certainly know this tree. Designed for one of the local naturalist of Copper Harbor.
