These are porcupine quills plugged from the very known needled small land creature
"Porcupine." They are shaped in different size as you see in this picture. You find them on the road where they roam in the
United States or from Alaska's beautiful tundra. As you see the tip on both ends has a sharpy point which you must
be careful not to poke yourself with it, if you do then you'll be sorry. They are very fragile to use. Must becareful how
you handle them. and are easy to use when they are moisted. I use these on Birchbark, making Barrettes, Baskets, Earrings
and Necklaces.
